Mud may stick to the link at the muddy working site and the machine movement may become dull. Perform the
inspection and cleaning after the work in such sites.
1.
Loosen the bolt (1), move the inspection cover (2).
You can see the check hole.
2.
Check that the position of the link is correct.
Check that the link operates as follows.
(A) Soft
The dump lever is not operated (dump lever is in “FLOAT”
position) with the brake pedal not depressed when having
no load
(B) Medium
With the brake pedal not depressed when having no load
(C) Hard
When setting the dump lever to the position other than “FLOAT”
Ask your Komatsu distributor for the inspection and adjustment if there is any problem found.
METHOD FOR CHECKING FUNCTION OF ACCUMULATOR
If the engine stops during travel, the brake can be operated with the oil pressure in the accumulator temporarily.
1.
Stop the machine on a flat ground.
2.
Set the parking brake switch to “PARKING” position (A).
3.
Turn the starting switch to START position (C) and start the
engine.
