BReplacing water separator filter element
1. Set the water shutoff-valve to the "CLOSE" position.
2. Loosen and remove the cup properly and replace the
filter element.
3. Check the condition of the O-ring and replace if
necessary.
4. Tighten up the cup properly.
5. Set the shutoff-valve to the "OPEN" position.
A In reattaching the filter element, be careful to keep off
dust and dirt.
A After exchange of the filter, the fuel system must be
purged of air.
A Collect drain water in an oil pan or the like.
EVERY 500 HOURS SERVICE
Perform inspection and servicing for every 50 and 250
hours of operation at the same time.
BChanging engine oil
To avoid personal injury or death:
A Always stop the engine before changing the
engine oil.
A Never open the drain plug immediately after the
engine has stopped, or hot engine oil may rush
out, causing scalding.
1. Unscrew the oil drain plug (WOF 22 mm (0.9 in.)) at
the engine oil drain and drain the engine oil.
After the engine oil is fully drained, refit the oil drain
plug with a new seal.
