Registering New Permit Fax Numbers
1 Press the [Register] key. The Register screen will appear.
2 Press the [TX/RX Restrict.] key.
3 Press the [Permit Fax No.] key.
4 Press an unregistered key. The information will be displayed for all
keys that have already been registered.
Prerequisites Reception Rejection Requirements

Reception
• You must register Reject Fax Number in your
fax in advance.

• You must select [Reject List] as the reception
restriction setting under TX/RX Restriction.
(Refer to Turning TX/RX Restriction ON/OFF
on page 6-33.)
• The other party does not register its local
FAX Number in its own fax in advance.
• The Reject Fax Number registered in your
fax matches the local Fax Number registered
in the other party's fax.
a. If there are no Reject FAX numbers registered, calls are only rejected from senders whose Local FAX Numbers
(Indicates local FAX information entries, not the actual line numbers.) are not registered.
Note You can register up to 5 numbers as Permit Fax Numbers in
this fax.
If you want to cancel the procedure part way through, press the
Reset key. The touch panel will return to the initial mode settings.
