9.20 Line drop compensation
You can use the compensation function to compensate for the load-depen-
dent voltage drop between the transformer and consumer. The device pro-
vides 2 methods of compensation for this purpose:
▪ R&X compensation
▪ Z compensation
9.20.1 R&X compensation
R&X compensation can compensate for voltage losses on the lines and
therefore ensure correct voltage at the load. This requires precise line data.
After you have entered all of the line data, the device automatically calcu-
lates the ohmic and inductive voltage drop and takes this into account for au-
tomatic voltage regulation.

▪ Ohmic resistance load in mΩ/m
▪ Inductive resistance load in mΩ/m
▪ Length of line in km
