Brine pump
Menu 5.4.6 Oper. mode brinepump [U]
The operating mode for the brine pump is set here.
Selectable options are:
Intermittent: The brine pump starts 20 seconds before
and stops 20 seconds after the compressor.
Continuous: Continuous operation.
10 days cont: Continuous operation for 10 days. The
pump then switches to intermittent operation.
The factory setting is Intermittent.

Level monitor
Menu 5.4.4 Level monitor [U]
Select here whether an external brine pressostat, level
monitor or flow sensor is connected to the “EBV-card”.
Can be set to “On (NC)”, “On (NO)” or “Off”.
The factory setting is “Off”.
If set to ”On (NC)” alarm triggered when input is
opened.
If set to ”On (NO)” alarm triggered when input is closed.
Brine pump
The operating mode for the brine pump (internally in-
stalled in 22 – 40 kW) can be set separately for each heat
pump in menu 5.4.6.
Level monitor
A level monitor, brine pressostat or flow sensor can be
connected to prevent operation in the event of leakage in
the collector circuit.
The status of the input can be checked during operation
of the compressor and just prior to compressor start (when
the brine pump is already in operation).
Alarm given as existing and the brine pump is unaffected
until the alarm is reset.
Level monitor connection
The level monitor is connected to terminal block X1:16-17.

Connecting external brine pump (60 kW only)
Connect the enclosed external brine pump to terminal
block -X7:1-5 (13).
The heat pump in the picture is fitted with accessories.

If the brine pump is not connected correctly
during startup, the heat pump receives a brine
alarm.
NOTE!
If a separate circuit breaker is installed for the
brine pump, this must also break the motor
protection circuit for the pump.
