Actions with operating disturbances
Draining, heating medium side
Close the shut-off valves in heating medium system. Now
open the drain valve (76). A little water, possibly warm,
runs out. In order to empty the entire heating medium
side the coupling that joins the heating medium side and
the connection on the heat pump, heating medium flow
should be loosened a little to let in air so that the remain-
ing water can run out. When the heating medium is empty
the requisite service can be carried out.
Cleaning the circulation pump
Q Set switch (8) to 0.
Q Close the shut-off valves outside the heat pump.
Q Drain the part of the circuit where the pump to be
cleaned is located, the heating medium pump or the
brine pump.
Q Loosen the venting screw.
Q Remove the drive side from pump housing by loosening
the two screws. Now dismantle the drive side (fig. A).
Q Remove the rotor unit (including pump housing) by
carefully pulling the pump rotor. If it sits firmly, it can be
loosened by knocking the rear of the shaft (fig. B).
Q Clean inside the stator can using a cleaning agent
(fig. C).
Q Also clean the rotor unit using the cleaning agent and
lubricate the O-ring with, for example, a soap solution
(fig. D).
Q Refit the rotor unit.
Q Refit the drive side (the flat packing is best placed on
the pump housing).
Q Open the shut-off valves.
Q Set switch (8) to 1.
Draining, brine side
When performing a service on the collector system the
closest shut off valves are closed on both sides. Draining
of the fluid can then be done using the drain valve (78).
Helping the circulation pump to start
Q Shut down F1330 by turning the switch (8) to 0.
Q Open the front cover.
Q Loosen the air screw with a screwdriver. Hold a cloth
around the screwdriver blade as a certain amount of
water may run out.
Q Insert a screwdriver and turn the pump rotor.
Q Screw in the venting screw.
Q Start F1330 and check whether the circulation pump
runs.
It is usually easier to start the circulation pump with F1330
running, switch (8) set to 1. If helping the circulation pump
to start is performed with F1330 running, be prepared for
the screwdriver to jerk when the pump starts.
