7. Circle Offset Measurements
Press the [O/S] key on the BMS and select [7] to
enter the circle center calculation function.
When no measurement is taken to the circle before
entering this function, a temporary measurement
screen is shown.
Sight any point on the surface of the circle and press
the [MSR1] or [MSR2] key.
• If you use a Prism attached to the surface of the circle for the distance
measurement, press [+SD] to eliminate the offset error (from the attached point to
the measured surface of the prism) before pressing the [ENT] key.
Sight one edge of the circle and press [ENT].
• When the distance measurement was taken to the center of the circle, it is possible
to calculate by one-edge angle observation. In such a case, just press [Calc].
