During the compression process in the turbocharger, the
intake air is heated. To reduce the risk of detonation at high
boost pressure with high intake air temperature, lowering of
the target pressure starts at 88 °C (190 °F) airbox tempera-
ture, see diagram (Fig. 76-7).

Target pressure reduction will result in a drop in maximum
performance e.g. the power drop can reach up to 10 kW at
80 °C (176 °F) airbox temperature.

target pressure reduction starts at 72 °C
