4.2 Shipping and storage conditions
WARNING
Transporting hazardous goods
This product is a hazardous good according to UN 3091 (https://
support.industry.siemens.com/cs/products?dtp=Certi󹪝cate&mfn=ps&pnid=25522&lc=en-
WW).
The product contains lithium-metal batteries. The batteries contain approximately 2.6g of
lithium. When the product is transported, it is not permissible for the battery connector to be
in contact with the electronics module.
Carefully comply with the regulations that are applicable for transport.
NOTICE
Damage to the connectivity module due to external in󹪞uences
The connectivity module is supplied in separate packaging or is mounted on the motor in the
factory. During transport, storage and when the motor is operated, the connectivity module
can be damaged due to external in󹪞uences.
Do not damage the connectivity module while the motor is being transported, stored and
operated. It is not permissible that the connectivity module is subject to mechanical loads and
stress.
