If internet users still cannot visit the web server in LAN after the configuration, try the following
solutions:
Ensure that the WAN IP address of the CPE is a public IP address, and the internal port you entered is correct.
Security software, antivirus software, and the built-in OS firewall of the computer may cause port forwarding
function failures. Disable them and try again.
Manually set an IP address and related parameters for the web server to avoid the service disconnection caused by
the dynamic IP address.
8.6.2 Remote Web Management
Overview
Generally, only the devices connected to the LAN ports of the device can access its web UI.
The remote web management function enables you to access the web UI of the device on WAN if it is required.
Configuring Remotw Web Management
Configuration procedure
Step 1 Log in to the web UI of the CPE.
Step 2 Choose Advanced > Network Service.
Step 3 Enter the IP address of a device which is allowed to access the web UI of the CPE remotely, or select All
to allow any device on WAN to access.
Step 4 Enter a port number.
Step 5 Click Save on the bottom of this page.
