INSTALLING THE FRONT FORK LEGS
The following procedure applies to both of the
front fork legs.
1. Install:
front fork leg
Temporarily tighten the lower bracket pinch
bolts.
NOTE:

To install the front fork leg, align the inner tube

of the bevel on the
upper bracket as shown.

2. Tighten:
lower bracket pinch bolts
1
cap bolt
2
upper bracket pinch bolts

WARNING
_
Make sure the brake hose is routed prop-
erly.
3. Install:
brake hose holders
front mud guard
WARNING
_
Proper brake hose routing is essential to
insure safe motorcycle operation. Refer to
CABLE ROUTING in chapter 2.
