MEWS<5 Non-urgent Off-white
For stable life signs and no life danger, normal
handling is recommended.
MEWS=5 Observing Green
Keep close to the condition of patient’s life
signs, and appropriate treatment can be taken.
5<MEWS≤9 Warning Amber
The condition is urgent and may be worse.
Keep close observing and give treatment
timely.
MEWS>9 Critical Red
The condition is bad. Urgent rescue and
treatment are recommended.
15.5 Warning-Score Trend Table
Trend table provides the monitored patient’s scores during a period of time; it includes score time,
score parameters and value, score value. To check the trend table, click Trend Table button in
Warning-Score interface. EWS, NEWS and MEWS can respectively support 1200 groups of
trend review at least.
In Ward round mode:
If User Maintain > Network > Real-time Upload is turned on, the score data will be uploaded
in real time. Otherwise, user should select as needed and click Upload in trend table to manually
upload the score data.
