5 Communication Interfaces
Reason Switches have local and remote communication interfaces:
 Local interface:
o USB 2.0 communication port for local configuration. Protocols for
this interface are Telnet or SSH protocol.
 Remote interfaces:
o Ethernet interface communication (Electrical or Optical) for remote
or local monitoring and configuration. Protocols for this interface
are HTTP, HTTPS, SSL, SSH and Telnet.
