3 Power Connections
Reason Switches contain a double-redundant power supply source.
The protective grounding connector symbol shall be electrically connected to the
metallic mass of the rack cabinet in which the switch shall be installed.
All power connections should use insulated flameproof flexible cable (BWF type) with
a 1.5 mm² cross section, 70 °C (158 °F) thermal class, and 750 V insulation voltages.

+/L is connected to the positive cable (+) if the
power source is DC, or to the phase cable if the
power source is AC.
-/N is connected to the negative cable (-) if the
Power source is DC, or to the neutral cable if the
power source is DC.
Is connected to the grounding safety cable
(EARTH) both for AC and DC sources.
+/L is connected to the positive cable (+) if the
power source is DC, or to the phase cable if the
power source is AC. (Available only for equipment
that provide a redundant source)
-/N is connected to the negative cable (-) if the
power source is DC, or to the neutral cable if the
power source is DC. (Available only for equipment
