14. Close the cutter while pulling on the end of the media.
15. Close the media cover and then turn on the power.
16. Press to advance the media and adjust the media feed.
Loading Media for Internal Batch Takeup Printing
In batch takeup mode, printed labels fitted on liner (backing paper) or pre-perfo-
rated tickets and tags are wound up inside the printer. The roll of printed labels,
tickets, or tags can then be removed.
Batch takeup printing requires the optional factory-installed internal liner/batch
takeup accessory. The takeup hub can accommodate 30 to 40% of a full-size
media roll.
Internal batch takeup can be used for these types of media:
• Self-adhesive labels fitted on liner
• Pre-perforated tickets with gaps
• Pre-perforated tickets with marks
To load media for internal batch takeup printing
1. Turn off the printer.
