Performing a cluster validation test
After successfully configuring both nodes in a clustered configuration, run the
system verification tests. The test performs checks on the Red Hat cluster,
including fencing the other node, and waits for the system to reboot.
About this task
Notes:
1. The following procedures are only applicable to a clustered configuration. You
cannot use these procedures on a single server in a stand-alone configuration.
2. The following procedures must be run on each source and the target node in
the replication network.

Run the test on both nodes, starting with Node A.
Procedure
Perform the following steps to run the cluster validation test.
1. If you are not already connected to Node A, choose one of the following
options, as applicable:
v If you are using the KVM switch, press the PrtSc key on the TSSC keyboard,
select Node A from the list of devices, and then go on to step 2.
v If you are not using the KVM switch, plug a USB keyboard and monitor into
the back of the server, then go on to step 2.
2. Log in to Node A with the user name root and password admin.
3. Perform the following substeps:
a. At the command prompt, type menu and press Enter. The ProtecTIER Service
menu displays.

b. Type the numeral corresponding to ProtecTIER Configuration and press
Enter. The ProtecTIER Configuration menu displays.
