12-4. Replacing the SSD
When replacing the SSD, it is absolutely necessary to prepare the following components, as well as
parameter files necessary to operate the FX-1/FX-1R main unit.
If you have updated any data, such as MS parameters, select [File] and [Control Date
Management...] from the menu bar to back up the data.
Additionally, it is also necessary to back up the production program files into a floppy disk.
You must always follow the instructions described in this manual when replacing the SSD.

c FX-1/FX-1R Environment Disk (SSD)
For FX-1/FX-1R, this FX-1/FX-1R Environment Disk (containing the operating environment
for FX-1/FX-1R, such as Windows NT/XP or RTX, etc.) is absolutely required.

d FX-1/FX-1R system program installation disks
These disks contain the software for the FX-1/FX-1R. All system programs for the
FX-1/FX-1R are saved into these disks. Japanese, English, and Chinese versions are
available. You may specify the same language as that used for the SSD.
e Flexline DB installation disks: These disks contain the parts library database.
