1-8. Replacing the magnescale (FX-1R)
(1) Remove the scale head from the bracket.
(2) Remove the old magnescale.
(3) Degrease the magnescale mounting surface and a new magnescale completely.
Note 1: Before replacing the magnescale, put a new magnescale near the machine and leave it
for 1 hour or longer. After the temperature of the magnescale has become equivalent to
that of the machine, replace the magnescale.
Note 2: It is recommended to use “Mecha-Fine-Mate” for the degreasing agent.
Note 3: The horizontal magnescale deviation amount to the specification value:±0.1mm or less.
1-8-1. X-axis magnescale affixing position (FX-1R)
(1) Put the φ4-parallel pin at four positions of the beam.
(2) Affix the magnescale with the φ4-parallel pin used as guide.
