11 SERVICE WORK ON THE CHASSIS

11.5 Removing the fork protector

Remove screws

and take off the clamp.

Remove screws

on the left fork leg. Take off the fork pro-

tector.

Remove screws

on the right fork leg. Take off the fork pro-

tector.

11.6 Installing the fork protector

V00267-10

– Position fork protector on the right fork leg. Mount and tighten

screws

Guideline

Remaining screws,

M6 10 Nm (7.4 lbf ft)

– Position fork protector on left fork leg. Mount and tighten

screws

Guideline

Remaining screws,

chassis

M6 10 Nm (7.4 lbf ft)

– Position the brake line and the clamp. Mount and tighten

screws
