[3] AUTO THROTTLE ADVANCE (ATA)
When the ATA lever (3) is set to "OFF", the HST neutral holder arm (6) and HST accelerator lever (1) are not
connected. So, the HST is operated regardless of engine speed even when the HST pedal (8) is pushed.
When the ATA lever (3) is set to "ON", the ATA lever 1 (5) is pulled by the ATA cable (4).
Then the HST accelerator lever (1) is pressed by the ATA lever 1 (5) and the HST neutral holder arm (6) and the
HST accelerator lever (1) are connected by means of the pin (10).
As a result, when the HST pedal (8) is operated, engine speed is increased and decreased in response to the
operation of the HST neutral holder arm (6).
When the ATA lever (3) is changed from "ON" to "OFF", the pin (10) connecting the HST accelerator lever (1)
and the HST neutral holder arm (6) is separated by the clutch spring (9) force. As a result, the HST accelerator lever
(1) and the HST neutral holder arm (6) operate independently.
