3.5 Poor Drying Results
Symptom:
Combination products are being used, and the “2in1” or “3in1” function
is selected. Over time, the drying results deteriorate.
Cause:
All rinse aid remnants were flushed from the combi-dispenser (for
background information, see Section 050-2.8). Thus only the rinse aid
components of the combination product are available for the drying cycle.
Remedy:
1. Check the fill level of the rinse aid in the combi-dispenser.
2. Refill with standard rinse aid.
Cause:
Incorrect dispenser setting.
Remedy:
Adjust setting as necessary.
Cause:
Rinse aid dispenser flap not properly closed. The rinse aid container filled
with water during program operation.
Remedy:
1. Flush the dispenser and refill it with new rinse aid.
2. Replace the dispenser assembly, if necessary (Section 020-4.1).
Cause:
Rinse aid not being dispensed/released.
Remedy:
Ensure that the dispenser is operating; replace it, if necessary (Section 020-4.1).
4 Service
4.1 Replacing the WaterProof System Restrictor
Note:
In G 1xxx and G 2xxx dishwashers, green restrictors (1.1 gallons per minute
or 4.1 liters per minute) must be installed in the WaterProof System.
1. Remove the rubber seal (Figure 050-17, Item 1) and filter insert (Figure
050-17, Item 2) from the threaded union.
