Detergent
dispensing
Avoid dispensing more than the required amount as this can cause
excessive foaming.
– Only use low foaming detergents.
– Dispense according to the detergent manufacturer's
recommendations.
The amount to dispense will depend on:
– the amount of laundry
– the water hardness level in your area
– the type and amount of soiling level in the laundry

detergent manufacturer's instructions.

Soft (I) 0 - 1.5 0 - 8.4
Medium (II) 1.5 - 2.5 8.4 - 14
Hard (III) above 2.5 above 14
Check with your local water supplier if you do not know the water
hardness in your area.
Selecting a programme
Select a programme (e.g. Programme1 Cottons) by turning the
multifunction selector.
The following (for example) will appear in the display:

Press the multifunction selector to confirm the selected programme.
The following (for example) will appear in the display:
If required, add the Pre-wash programme block by pressing the
"Block plus" function button.
When the "Block plus" function button is pressed, the following
