NOTE:Changetheengineoilandlteraftertherst50
hoursofoperation,thenevery300hoursthereafter.Ifthe
tractorisoperatedforextendedperiodsoftimeatmaxi-
mumratedpowerandspeed,orunderothertypesofcon-
tinuous,severeoperatingconditions,theengineoilandl-
tershouldbechangedat200hourintervalsfollowingthe
initialoilchange.
Tochangetheengineoil:
1.Placeasuitablecontainerbeneaththedrainopening
tocatchtheusedoil.Withthetractorengineoffbutat
normaloperatingtemperature,removethedrainplugs,
(1).Reinstalltheplugsafteralloftheoilhasbeen
drained.

NOTE:Therearetwodrainplugsintheoilpan,oneoneachsideoftheengine.
2.Next,placeacontainerbelowtheoillter,(2),tocatch
theusedoilandunscrewtheoillter.Discardtheused
oilandlter.
3.Coatthegasketonthenewlterwithalmofcleanoil.
Screwthelterintoplaceuntilthegasketcontactsits
matingsurface,thenturnthelterapproximatelythree-
quartersofaturnbyhand.Donotovertighten.
4.Addthepropertypeandlevelofnewoil,thenstartthe
engineandcheckthelterforleaks.
