Theinjectionpumphasbeenremovedandrein-
stalled.

Escapinguid!
Hydraulicuidordieselfuelleakingunder
pressurecanpenetratetheskinandcause
infectionorotherinjury.Topreventpersonal
injury:Relieveallpressurebeforediscon-
nectinguidlinesorperformingworkonthe
hydraulicsystem.Beforeapplyingpressure,
makesureallconnectionsaretightandall
componentsareingoodcondition.Neveruse
yourhandtocheckforsuspectedleaksunder
pressure.Useapieceofcardboardorwood
forthispurpose.Ifinjuredbyleakinguid,see
yourdoctorimmediately.
Failuretocomplycouldresultindeathorseri-
ousinjury.

Tobleedthefuelsystem:
1.Makesurethereisadequatefuelinthefueltank.
2.Bleedtheairfromthefuellter,bylooseningtheair
bleedplug(1)andpressingthemanualfuelfeedpump
(2)severaltimesuntilthefuelowingfromtheairbleed
plugisfreeofanyairbubbles.
3.Tightentheairbleedplugwhentheairfreefuelisow-
ingfromtheairbleedplug.
4.Aftertheairisbledformthefuellter,thefuelinjection
pumpneedstobledforair.

5.T obleedfuelinjectionpump:
6.Usingawrench,loosenthefuelinjectionpumpbleed
banjobolt(3)continuelooseningthebanjoboltbyhand
(withoutusingwrench)untiltheboltstopsturning.
7.Placethekeyswitchtothe"ON"position.
8.Fuelowingfromthebanjoboltshouldbefreeofany
airbubbles.
9.Whenairfreefuelispresenttightenbanjoboltand
placethekeyswitchinthe"OFF"position.
10.Tightenbanjoboltto20-29N·m(14.5-22lbft)of
torque.
