Tolowertheliftarms,rstmakesurethedropratecon-
trolvalve(2)isopen,thenmovetheHPLleverforward.T o
raisetheliftarms,movetheleverrearward.Anadjustable
lowerstop(3)islocatedinthisquadrantforreturningthe
levertoapresetloweringpositionofthehitch.Anad-
justableupperHPLcontrolleverheightstop(4)prevents
thecontrolleverfromexceedingtheliftlimitandcausing
thetractorhydraulicsystemtogooverthereliefvalveset-
ting.
Thehydraulicliftsystemprovidesaccurate,smooth,and
instanthydraulicpowerforraisingavarietyofcompatible
equipmentwhenevertheengineisrunning.Thesystem's
positioncontrolfeaturemaintainstheselectedheightor
depthofthree-pointlinkageequipmentinrelationtothe
tractor.Whenthehydraulicliftcontrolleverismovedtoa
higherorlowersettinginthequadrant,thesystemrepo-
sitionstheequipmenttoahigherorlowerpositionand
maintainstheselectedposition.

Positioncontrol
Positioncontrolprovideseasy,accuratecontrolofthe
three-pointlinkageequipmentwhichoperatedabovethe
ground,suchassprayers,rakes,mowersetc.Italsopro-
videsuniformdepthwhenusingabladeorsimilarequip-
mentongroundlevel.
Whenoperatinginpositioncontrol,thereisadenitere-
lationshipbetweenthepositionofthecontrolleverinthe
quadrantandthepositionoftheequipment.Thelever
mustbemovedtochangethepositionoftheequipment
relativetothetractor.Thesystemwillautomaticallymain-
taintheequipmentintheselectedposition.
