Transmissionoperationatlowambienttemperatures
Warmupperiod
Thetractorhydraulicoilalsoservesasthetractor
transmissionuid.Duringcoldweatheroperation,the
hydraulicoilviscosityincreases.Thisincreaseinoil
viscosityrestrictstheoil'sabilitytoowandlubricatein
thetransmissionandhydrauliccircuits.Thecoldoilcan
resultinabnormalnoisesandsloweroperationtimesdue
totheincreasedoilviscosity.
NOTE:Awarmuptimeat50%ratedenginespeedisrec-
ommendedtoassurepropervehiclefunctionality,trans-
missionlubricationandoperation.
NOTE:Donotoperatethetractorunderfullloadcondition
untilthehydraulicoilissufcientlywarmedup.
WARNING
Settheparkbrakeduringwarmupoperation.Setall
shiftleverstothe"NEUTRAL"positionsandplacethe
PTOclutchleverinthe"OFF"positionduringwarm
upoperation.Failuretocomplycouldresultindeath
orseriousinjury.
