Yourtractorwillprovidelonganddependableserviceif
givenpropercareduringtherst50-hourbreak-inperiod.
Duringtherst50hoursofoperation:
1.Avoid"lugging"theengine.Operatingintoohigha
gearunderheavyloadmaycauseenginelugging,
whichisindicatedwhentheenginewillnotrespond
toathrottleincrease.
2.Usethelowergearratioswhenpullingheavyloads
andavoidcontinuousoperationatconstantengine
speeds.Youwillsavefuelandminimizeenginewear
byselectingthecorrectgearratioforaparticularop-
eration.Operatingthetractorinlowgearwithalight
loadandhighenginespeedwastesfuel.
3.Avoidprolongedoperationateitherhighorlowengine
speedswithoutaloadontheengine.
4.Checktheinstrumentsfrequentlyandkeepthera-
diatorandoilreservoirslledtorecommendedlev-
els.Dailychecksincludetheengineoillevel,radiator
coolant,andaircleaner.
5.Aftertherst50hoursofuse,besuretoperformthe
maintenanceitemslistedinthemaintenancesched-
ule.
