Clutchpedal
Thefootoperatedclutchpedal(1)controlsthesingle-
stageclutchandislocatedontheleft-handsideofthe
operatorsplatform.
NOTE:Theclutchpedalisonlyfoundongearmodeltrac-
tors.
Alwaysdepresstheclutchpedalfullywhenengagingor
disengagingthefront-wheeldrive.
Tostartthetractor,depresstheclutchpedalfullytoensure
asafestart-up.

Unevenbrakeforceexistsonleft-handand
right-handbrakes.Toensureuniformbrake
applicationandmaximumstoppingability,al-
wayslocktheservicebrakepedalstogether
beforeroadtravel.
Failuretocomplycouldresultindeathorse-
riousinjury.

Therightbrakepedalcontrolsthebrakingactionofthe
rightrearwheel.Theleftbrakepedalcontrolsthebraking
actionoftheleftrearwheel.
ThefunctionofthebrakepedalsareidenticalfortheHST
andgearmodeltractorsexceptforthelocationoftheped-
als.Thebrakepedals(1)onaHSTmodeltractorarelo-
catedontheleft-handsideoftheoperatorsplatformand
thebrakepedals(2)onagearmodeltractorarelocated
ontheright-handsideoftheoperatorsplatform.
Depressbothpedalssimultaneouslytostopthetractor.
Toassistinmakingsharpturnsatslowspeed,depress
therightorleftbrakepedalasrequired.
Thebrakepedalconnectingpin(3)isusedtosecurethe
brakepedalstogether.Lockthepedalstogetherwhen-
everthetractorisoperatedathighspeedsorwhenthe
tractorisusedonthehighway.
