Removing the Melter from the Sub‐base
NOTE: For 400/480 VAC melters, refer to Appendix E.
1. Switch the melter off.
2. Relieve system pressure. Refer to Relieving System Pressure earlier in
this section.
3. Disconnect the hoses.
See Figure 3‐5.
4. Disconnect the power cable and ground lead.
See Figure 3‐4.
5. Turn the locking screws counterclockwise approximately 16 turns until
they stop.
6. Slide the melter forward, and then lift it clear of the sub‐base (See Figure
3‐4).
