Utilities:
Oki LPR Printing Utility
The Oki LPR Utility is a utility that allows sending data to printers connected
to the network via TCP/IP.
The utility redirects printing data to the lpr port of the specified IP address.
System Requirements
Oki LPR works with the following Windows Operating Systems, with TCP/IP
protocol installed:
• XP
• 2000
• Me
• 98
• NT4.0
Installing Oki LPR
Installation consists of three steps:
• Step 1: Load the Printer Driver
• Step 2: Install the Utility
• Step 3: Add the Printer to the Utility
Step 1: Install the Printer Driver
Install the printer driver on local port LPT1.

1. Insert the Drivers CD provided with your printer into the CD-ROM
drive and wait for it to autorun.
If the Menu Installer does not start automatically, click
[Start]
→
[Run]
→
[Browse]. Browse to your CD-ROM and click
[INSTALL.EXE]
→
[Open]
→
[OK].
2. Click [Next] to accept the Software License Agreement, then select
your language.
