Display screen
This displays various setting menus
and other information.
Sub power switch
This switches the printer on and o.
(To switch the printer o, hold down
the switch for one second or longer).
The light ashes slowly when the
machine is in sleep mode.
ENTER key
Use this for such tasks as enabling
setting values.
MENU key
Press this to enter the menus for vari-
ous settings.
HEATER key
Press this to set the temperature for
the media heating system. This ashes
while the media heating system is
warming up and remains lit once the
preset temperature is reached.
SHEET CUT key
Hold down this key for one second or
longer to cut o the media.
PAUSE key
This pauses the printing operation. It
lights when operation is paused.
SETUP key
Press this when you load media. It
lights when media is loaded and the
machine is ready to perform output.
BASE POINT key
Use this when you want to set the
output-start location. It lights when
the setting has been made.
CLEANING key
Use this to clean the print heads.
Cursor keys
Use these to select settings for menu
items, to move the media, and for
other such operations.
TEST PRINT key
Hold this down for one second or
longer to perform a printing test.
BUSY light
This lights during printing and other
such operations.
