How to Replace Ink Cartridges
When ink runs out, a warning beep sounds and printing pauses (unless the factory default settings have been
changed). Pull out the empty cartridge and insert a new one. Printing resumes.
WARNING
Never store ink, cleaning liquid, or discharged uid in any of the following
locations.
Any location exposed to open ame
Any location where high temperature may occur
Near bleach or any other such oxidizing agent or explosive material
Any location within the reach of children
Doing so may lead to a re. Accidental ingestion by children may pose a health
hazard.

Important notes on replacing cartridges
Insert and remove cartridges slowly, one at a time.
Be sure to replace each cartridge with an item of identical type.
Never use an ink cartridge that has already been used in other machines even if it is of the identical
type.
Never mix items of dierent types.
Never leave the machine with an ink cartridge removed. The print heads may become clogged.
Never insert or remove a partially used ink cartridge. If you remove and insert an ink cartridge by
mistake, you will have to manually set the amount of remaining ink.

Never remove an ink cartridge suddenly while the printer is in operation.
The slot number for the empty cartridge ashes.
Be sure to gently shake the new ink
cartridge before inserting it.
Replace the cartridge with an item of identical type and color.
Insert the cartridge so that the side with
the arrow faces up.
Insert and remove cartridges slowly, one at a
time.
Insert the cartridge rmly, as far as it will go.
