Printing Tests and Normal Cleaning
Before you carry out actual printing, perform a printing test to ensure no dot drop-out occurs. If dot drop-out
occurs, perform cleaning of the print heads (Normal Cleaning).
1.
Set test print orientation.
Note: The factory default setting for test print orientation is "Portrait." When making continuous test prints, it
is possible to select print orientation of "Portrait" or "Landscape" from the second print onward. However, if
using the optional media take-up system, test prints will be printed in "Portrait" orientation regardless of the
print orientation setting.
