Before You Begin Playing
Quick Start
Connecting Your Audio System or Amp

Before making any connections, turn off the power on all devices.

To prevent malfunction and/or damage to speakers or other
devices, always turn down the volume, and turn off the power on
all devices before making any connections.

Connect the supplied AC adaptor to the AC adaptor jack.

To prevent the inadvertent disruption of power to your unit
(should the plug be pulled out accidentally), and to avoid applying
undue stress to the AC adaptor jack, anchor the power cord using
the cord hook, as shown in the illustration.

Connect the MASTER L(MONO) and R jacks on the rear panel to
your audio system or amp. If using headphones, connect them to the
PHONES jack.

Plug the AC adaptor plug into a power outlet.
Stereo headphones
Stereo set, etc.
AC adaptor
Audio cable
Speakers with built-in amp, etc.

Be sure that the TD-8’s
MASTER L (MONO) and R
j
acks are connected to the
respective L and R jacks on
your audio system or amp.
With factory settings, no
sound is output from the
DIRECT OUTPUT jacks.
