11.2 Blanking
the Screen
The
brightness of the LCD back–lighting is reduced during the course of time
due to technological reasons. T
o extend the useful life of the back-lighting:
reduce its brightness on the OP27,
switch it of
f on the OP37.

Press the button assigned to the icon, depicted on the right, in
the
System Settings
standard screen. This blanks the screen.
Automatic triggering
If the OP is not operated within a configured period of time, the OP screen
is blanked automatically
.
The screen is only blanked automatically if this function has been
configured in ProT
ool.
The back-lighting is turned back on after pressing a button.
