11.1.7 Installation and removal of bus boards in the bus frame
Preparation
14. Disconnect the device from the power supply and remove all connecting cables from the
device.
15. Open the device.
Installing a main bus board and piggybacks
How to install the bus board
1. Remove the bus frame as
described in the section 6Installation
and removal of the bus frame
(Page 371).
2. Remove all installed expansion
modules as described in the
section 6Installation and removal of
expansion modules (Page 371).
3. Align the bus frame in such a way
that the imprints in the middle rack
of the bus frame are pointing up.
4. Insert the desired main bus board
into the middle rack of the bus
frame and align the mounting holes
to the holes there.
