IPv6 neighbor discovery cache are not modified if subsequently
detected by the neighbor discovery process.
• Disabling IPv6 on an interface with the no ipv6 enable command
(see page 36-10) deletes all dynamically learned entries in the IPv6
neighbor discovery cache for that interface, but does not delete static
entries.

The following maps a static entry for global unicast address to a MAC

ipv6 nd dad attempts
This command configures the number of consecutive neighbor solicitation
messages sent on an interface during duplicate address detection. Use the
no form to restore the default setting.
Syntax
ipv6 nd dad attempts count
no ipv6 nd dad attempts
count - The number of neighbor solicitation messages sent to
determine whether or not a duplicate address exists on this
interface. (Range: 0-600)
