- Mail Account – Set the E-mail address of the recipients who will receive the events or/add the daily
status reports.
- Mail Type – This field allows the administrator to select the mail type:
o None – Disable option to send email to recipients.
o Events – Current events will be sent to recipients.
NOTE: System will label each event email with the system Name and Location, in the format:
systemName@SystemLocation (“systemName” and “SystemLoaction” can be set in the RemotEye
4 Configuration menu.
o Daily Status – Logs selected by administrator will be sent daily to the email recipients at the
designated time.
o Events with Status – Events along with logs selected by the administrator will be sent to email
recipients when events occur.
- Severity Level – This field allows the administrator to select kind of notices each recipient receives.
o Informational: Refers to changes in the state of the UPS. This is based on which “Informational”
alarms are selected in the “UPS Configuration General” page. Will also receive Warning and fault
alarms.
o Warning: UPS has encountered a non-critical abnormal condition that requires attention. This is
based on which “Warning” alarms are selected in the “UPS Configuration General” page. Will
also receive fault alarms.
o Fault: UPS has encountered a critical abnormal condition and requires attention. This is based on
which “Fault” alarms are selected in the “UPS Configuration General” page. Refer to the manual
for possible causes and solutions. Will only receive fault alarms.
- Description – Allows the administrator to set the description of the recipients.
- Select the logs to be attached to the daily status emails – (See Table 7-1 Daily/Event Status Logs)
- Select the logs to be attached to the events status emails - (See Table 7-1 Daily/Event Status Logs)
