CHANGE OF THE FRONT WHEEL TREAD ON THE FRONT
DRIVING AXLE
To carry out the change of wheel tread, change the rim and
disc position.
Tires used Adjustable treads (mm)
12,4-24 1525, 1620, 1680, 1770, 1825, 1920
13,6R24 1610, 1690, 1760, 1835, 1910
First of all, fix the tractor against movement, lift the axle
by lifting jack and support it.
1. Dismantle the front wheels.
2. Unscrew nuts of bolts connecting the disc to rim and remove
bolts.
3. Change the tread by setting the rim into required position.
4. Remount bolts with washers and secure with nuts.
5. Tighten nuts to torque of 230 - 250 Nm.
6. Tighten front wheel nuts to torque of 270 - 300 Nm.
7. Retighten bolts to the specified torque after each loosening
of the tire bead connection.
8. Retighten connections again to the specified torque after
driving 100 m with unloaded tractor.
9. Retighten connections after 3 hours of operation with loaded
tractor.
10. Check again the tightening of disc nuts and wheel rim
beads after 10 hours of operation.
