BLEEDING THE HYDRAULIC CIRCUIT
OF HYDROSTATIC STEERING
1. Secure the tractor against movement
and lift the front axle.
2. Start the engine and let it idle for
about one minute.
3. With engine running at idle, turn the
steering wheel several times to both
directions.
4. With engine running at the top speed,
turn the steering wheel three times
alternately slowly and quickly to both
directions up to limiting wheel stops
(steering locks).
5. Stop the engine.
6. On termination of the bleeding
procedure, check the oil level and/or
add the oil to the dipstick mark.
Check all connections and piping of
the hydraulic circuit of hydrostatic
steering for leaks.
7. Lower the tractor front wheels to
ground.
During all bleeding operations
observe the oil level in the tank to
avoid suction of air into the
steering system.
