CHECKING OF ADJUSTMENT OF FRONT MASK HEADLIGHTS
The tractor must stand on horizontal surface and the tires must be inflated to
specified pressure when checking on the testing wall. Basic vertical setting is 3.5 % at
tractor curb weight. Light beams must be parallel with the longitudinal tractor axis of
symmetry in horizontal direction.
I
- Distance between testing wall and tractor headlight (5 m)
h
- Height of headlight centre above the road surface
Δh
- Inclination of headlight (-3.5 %) to distance of testing wall = 17.5 cm
α
- Raising of the picture of asymmetric headlight (15%)
ADJUSTMENT OF FRONT MASK
HEADLIGHTS
Adjust the light by means of both screws
(1) for vertical and horizontal direction
simultaneously - horizontally ± 2° and
vertically +1° to -6°.
Each light is adjusted separately. The
lamp is replaced by removing from the
rear side of parabola.
