MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS
E739 E740 E741
OPERATING PRESSURE OF AIR
BRAKES
At single-hose type (1) and double-hose
type (2), the air pressure in double-hose
coupling (red cap) is 740 ± 20 kPa and
the pressure in single-hose coupling is
maximum 600 ± 20 kPa (at the moment,
when the air pressure regulator releases
the compressor – air blows out).
MAINTENANCE OF AIR-
CONDITIONING
The most important in the air-
conditioning maintenance is
cleaning of the air-conditioning
condenser (this is located in front of the
engine radiator).
The clogged air-conditioning condenser
reduces not only efficiency of the air-
conditioning but also efficiency of the
engine cooling.
Remove the left-hand bonnet side,
loosen the nut (1), move the radiator
aside and blow it out by pressure air or
wash it by pressure water (against
tractor driving direction).
Then push the condenser in place and
fix it properly. Take care of a proper
positioning of hoses towards to the
radiator.
When the air-conditioning works
correctly, it comes to condensation of air
humidity in the roof space of the cab.
The condensate is drained by means of
hoses that are situated in cab pillars and
flows out at the bottom of the pillar.
That’s why it is necessary to keep the
hoses clean to be able to drain the
condensate properly.
