WARNING
Park the vehicle on firm and flat ground
to avoid tipping over.
Do not lean the vehicle against walls or
lay it on the ground.
Make sure that the vehicle, and in
particular its hot components, are no
danger to children or other persons.
Do not leave the vehicle unguarded with
the engine running or the key in the
ignition switch.
Do not sit on the vehicle when it is on its
stand.
◆ Stop the vehicle, see page 60
(STOPPING).
◆ Set the engine stop switch (1) to ≈∆.
CAUTION
Leaving the engine stopped and the
ignition switch in position “ ” drains
the battery.
◆ Turn the key (2) and set the ignition
switch to ≈∆ (3).
◆ Place the vehicle on its stand, see
page 62 (POSITIONING THE VEHICLE
ON THE STAND).
NOTE When the vehicle is stationary
there is no need to close the fuel tap
because it is equipped with an automatic
closing system.
CAUTION
Do not leave the key in the ignition
switch.
◆ Lock the steering, see page 42
(STEERING LOCK) and remove the key
(2).
