CHECKING THE BRAKE SHOE
WEAR
Carefully read page 49 (REAR DRUM
BRAKE) and page 63 (MAINTENANCE).
Have an aprilia Official Dealer
check the wear of the rear brake shoes
after the first 312 mi (500 Km) and every
1250 mi (2000 Km) thereafter.

Have an aprilia Official Dealer check the
wear of the rear brake shoes after the first
625 mi (1000 Km) and every 1250 mi
(2000 Km) thereafter.
In any case:
WARNING
If the rear brake shoe wear indicator (3)
is on or over the lower mark (5) contact
an aprilia Official Dealer for
replacement of the rear brake shoes.

(MAINTENANCE).
Check the fastening of all parts and
operation of the front and rear suspension
joints:
√ after the first 312 mi (500 Km)
and every 2500 mi (4000 Km) thereafter;
√ after the first 625 mi (1000 Km) and
every 3750 mi (6000 Km) thereafter.

If you notice irregularities in their
operation or specialized help is
required, contact an aprilia Official
Dealer.
