ADJUSTING THE VERTICAL
HEADLIGHT BEAM
To quickly check the headlight beam, place
the vehicle ten metres from a wall on flat
ground.
Switch on the low beam, sit on the vehicle
and check that the beam spot on the wall is
just below the horizontal (around 9/10 of
the height of the lamp from the ground).

To adjust the headlight beam:
" Adjust the screw (1) with a screwdriver.
SCREWING IT IN (clockwise) lowers the
beam.
UNSCREWING IT (counterclockwise)
raises the beam.

To adjust the headlight beam:
" Slacken off the nut (2).
" Adjust the headlight angle (3).
" Tighten down the nut (2).
" Check that the nut really is tight (2).
" Finally, check the beam angle once
more (3).
ADJUSTING THE HORIZONTAL
LIGHT BEAM

" Slacken off the screws (1) securing the
headlight (2).
" Press on the edge of the headlight lens
(2) to adjust the beam horizontally.
" Tighten down the screws (2) securing
the headlight.
" Check that the headlight (2) angle is
correct.
