REMOVING
THE REAR-VIEW MIRRORS
Carefully read page 63
(MAINTENANCE).
The following information refers to a single
rear-view mirror, but applies to both
( in countries where a second rear-
view mirror is obligatory).
" Place the vehicle on its centre stand.
" Raise the dust cover (1).
" Completely slacken off the nut (2).
" Unscrew and remove the rear-view
mirror (3).
" Retain the plastic washer (4).
PARTIAL REMOVAL OF THE
DASHBOARD

(MAINTENANCE).
" Unscrew and remove the three nuts (5).
CAUTION
Work with care.
Do not force cables.
Handle plastic and painted parts with
care to avoid damaging or scratching
them.
" Partially remove the dashboard (6).
To access the dashboard bulbs, proceed
as follows:
" !Unscrew and remove the two screws
(7).
" Remove the upper cover (8).
" Remove the glass (9) together with its
mount.
" Lower the lower cover (10).
" Raise the rubber ring (11) to free it from
the odometer control coupling (12).
WARNING
Work with care. Do not damage the
snap-on tangs and matching recesses.
" Use a spanner to extract the odometer
control coupling (12) from its recess in
the dashboard.
