REMOVING THE LOWER
HANDLEBAR COVER
Carefully read page 63
(MAINTENANCE).
" Place the vehicle on its centre stand.
" Unscrew and remove the headlight
metal ring screw (1).
" Remove the headlight metal ring (2).
" !Unscrew and remove the screw (3).
" !Unscrew and remove the three screws
(4).
" !Unscrew and remove the screw (5).
CAUTION
Work with care.
Do not damage the tangs or their
matching recesses.
Handle plastic and painted parts with
care, to avoid scratching or damaging
them.
" !Unscrew and remove the screw (7).
" Carefully lower the lower handlebar
cover (6).
CAUTION
Work with care. Do not force the electric
cables.
NOTE When refitting, check that the
reflector (8) and lower handlebar cover (6)
are correctly fitted together.

THE HEADLIGHT METAL RING

" Place the vehicle on its centre stand.
" !Unscrew and remove the screw (11).
" Remove the headlight metal ring (12).
NOTE When refitting, make sure the
tang (13) fits fully into its seat.
