Basic Operation
You can illuminate the LCD panel by
pressing the <
U > button. Turn on ( 9 )
or off the LCD panel illumination by
pressing the <
U > button.
After you press the <
B > button a number of times, the shooting
function settings will be displayed.
With the shooting function settings displayed, you can turn the Mode
Dial to see the settings for each shooting mode (p.451).
Pressing the <
Q > button enables Quick Control of the shooting
function settings (p.56).
Press the <
B > button again to turn off the display.

During a bulb exposure, pressing the shutter button completely will turn off
the LCD panel illumination.
