Refer to the Safety Precautions on page .
Raise the rear wheel off the ground by
placing a support block under the engine.
Remove the rear brake adjusting nut ( ).
Press and release the rear brake pedal
and disconnect the brake rod ( ) from
the brake arm ( ).
Remove the rear axle nut ( ) and loosen
the lock nuts ( ) and drive chain
adjusting nuts ( ).
