If a torque wrench was not used for
installation, see your Honda dealer as soon
as possible to verify proper assembly.
Improper assembly may lead to loss of
braking capacity.
Installation Notes:
Adjust the brake (page ) and drive
chain (pages ).
Apply the brake several times and check
for free wheel rotation after the brake
pedal is released.
Remove the rear wheel from the
motorcycle.
Removetherearaxleshaft( ),drive
chain adjusters ( ) and side collar, then
remove the drive chain ( ) from the
driven sprocket by pushing the rear
wheel forward.
Tighten the rear axle nut to the specified
torque:
Reverse the removal procedure.
